Thanks! The noodles I found are from festival and I don’t remember the brand, but they are only made with wheat, nothing added. It comes in a package of 3 long rows of the noodles. You boil them and then rinse in cold water and add to recipes. I really don’t think these are fried. I will have to look into it tho when I look at the brand. They aren’t organic….

Mmmm, looks great. I was shocked to read recently that most ramen noodles are deep fried before they’re packaged, unless the package specifically says low-fat. Fortunately I’ve been able to find low-fat ramen at the coop.

I highly recommend The Omnivore’s Dilemma, by Michael Pollan. Available at many libraries. Not only does it go into detail about many of the things that you bring up, but it also talks about factory farming versus sustainable and local farming. It should be required reading for everyone so that we all understand where our food really comes from.

Will be looking forward to your Thanksgiving meal plans.

Tatiana has great taste. Sometimes we’re just on our own with taste. Samara and I love oatmeal. Jeff can’t stand the consistency. I love cream of wheat. Neither of them like, they think it is fish eggs. Oh well. Like Tatiana, Miss Honey is open to just about anything I like. But not bananas.
