MoonSeeds comes from the meaning of my first and middle names–Chandra is Sanskrit for “moon”, and Samara is the official name of maple and elm seeds, aka helicopter seeds, (and also Hebrew for “guarded by God”).
The moon reflects the light of the sun and holds mastery over our oceans and mysterious workings in our subconscious. As a contemplative artist, writer and Reiki Master, with the moon’s namesake, I honor that feminine presence that the moon holds, with the gift of reflection and intuition shared here.
I am…. a dedicated mom, artist, empathic-intuitive, life long learner, values driven, compassionate, joyful and creative.
I celebrate: nature, love, gratitude, presence of living beings encountered in each day, the magic that is love, family, the Sacred in the ordinary, realizing nothing is ordinary (all is miracle!), being partner to my soul mate, creativity, offering healing and empowerment for others, Reiki, re-arranging spaces to honor the NOW-the ever changing flow of Chi, reflecting love and light with my soul whispers in –contemplation, prayer, poetry, art, dreaming; wonder of life & Divine Mystery, being a mom, child of God & Earth, many facets of creative expression, community, people sharing their beautiful bright soul light.
I Believe in: Compassionate action, empowering self and others, cosmic awareness, raising consciousness, Resurrection, Cosmic Christ, Buddha, Love, Holy Spirit (esp. in silence, wind & energy), gratitude, hope, the present moment, Life, Mother Earth, wholeness, healing, ethics, integrity, peace, forgiveness, stewardship, the right for humane treatment for all Life and resources, access to clean free water for all Life, Living LOVE. Seeking, honoring, loving–the Sacred-Divine Mystery-I AM-Living-God-of-LOVE & All Good-only good, who embodies a harmonious balance of divine feminine & masculine, and is also more than/beyond both of these. Unity, diversity, inclusive, grace, beauty, art & life as prayer.
