Gus or Mike???
Our new kitten, who we named Gus, does not know his name yet, and now we are considering naming him Mike (Michael). He really looks like a Mike and seems to respond to this name more than Gus. We really like the name Gus, perhaps it could be his middle name? What do you think?
Every time I say Mike or Michael, he responds now. With Gus, he acts like I am not even remotely talking to him. Hmmmmmm…
Well, I just called him to me, saying, “Mike! Michael…” And he came running to me, the first time he has ever done so. Curious.

His face seems to say, Gus. But, Mike must be what he wants. Maybe Mike reminds him of his Mom-Cat, since it starts with M.

It was a pleasure to meet Gus, or Mike, whichever he ends up being. He’s a real sweety. When he brought me his little mouse I knew that we were friends.
Yes, that was so sweet how he brought you the mouse toy. It was good for him. To know you were visiting and a friend, not someone walking in to take him off, like he maybe felt with everyone coming and going in the antique shop. Thank you. I love this photo too.
